Calcium acetate monohydrate

Calcium acetate monohydrate is a white powder or granular solid.
Molecular formula:

(CH3COO)2CaH2O

Packing:
Calcium acetate monohydrate

Calcium acetate monohydrate is a white powder or granular solid. These two Appearance different products are mainly identified by chemical properties, only the physical form is different. The granular form has dust-free, improved wettability, higher reactivity, higher density and improved fineness.

Grade
Calcium acetate monohydrate has pharmaceutical grade, food grade and industrial grade.

Packaging
Calcium acetate monohydrate is packaged in a paper-plastic compound bag.

Storage
Calcium acetate monohydrate should be stored in its original packaging or in a suitable airtight container in a dry and clean place. Calcium acetate does not pose any health hazards under normal handling conditions. Necessary precautions must be taken to avoid solid or liquid contact with skin or eyes. Under good ventilation conditions, high density exposure to the air should be avoided.

First Aid Measures
Eye Contact: In case of contact with eyes, wash immediately with plenty of water, keep eyes open if necessary, seek medical attention.
Skin Contact: Wash contaminated clothing with water and wash clothing before wearing next time.
Ingestion: Rinse mouth with water, seek medical attention.

Fire risk

Calcium acetate monohydrate does not produce fire risk.

Applications
Calcium acetate has a wide range of applications. Calcium acetate is a good bacterial growth inhibitor. It is widely used in bread to prolong product life by organizing sticky agglomeration. The high humidity inside the bread promotes the growth of bacteria, which are heat inhibitors and can survive the temperature of the backing process, which means that this condition is conducive to the growth of sticky silk, and appropriate measures should be taken to prevent sticky silk knots piece. Calcium acetate is a good sticky silk inhibitor, it will not affect the fermentation, and the taste is best when it is concentrated at the level of 0.2-0.5%. Calcium acetate can also be used to produce resonance inks for printing and dyeing. Calcium acetate can be used to increase the milk fat content of dairy cows. In addition, it can be used in the production of calcium fatty acids, the manufacture of high-temperature lubricating oils, and as a catalyst for the production of polyesters.

Physiological properties
Contact of solid or liquid with eyes may cause irritation and sensitization. Repeated skin contact may cause slight pain. Smoking a lot can lead to nostrils, throat and upper respiratory tract infection.
